Guiding Service

My guiding services are now available to assist fly fishermen on both game and coarse rivers. I'd be happy to advise and arrange your special day anywhere from one of Derbyshires finest trout and grayling rivers to your own local coarse river. Email Mick Martin for details and options. Running In The Family

Took my brother for his first river session on the Wye yesterday and although I waqs probably a little harder on him than usual, he turned out OK and landed enough fish to wet his river appetite. We managed the magic trio, rainbows, browns and grayling on Rough Sedges and Midways(quills)and our kid even experienced the evening spinner fall along with the odd gladiator. We spent the main part of the day fishing the more wild sections before moving up and through town in the evening. Dez's (Bro) bag was most satisfactory for his first river trip but then he did have a little inside help.

That's another monster. Do they get to that size in the town stretch because of the duck food?
