Guiding Service

My guiding services are now available to assist fly fishermen on both game and coarse rivers. I'd be happy to advise and arrange your special day anywhere from one of Derbyshires finest trout and grayling rivers to your own local coarse river. Email Mick Martin for details and options. Oggy Oggy Oggy!

Nipped to Ogston to meet up with Ady lastnight and was suprised to witness him land 4 browns on the trot and leaving me with just one brown. There were no rainbows caught but the browns were feeding on small fry without doubt and I suspect they've been in there a while. Superb ressie on a lovely night once the wind died.

It's years since I fished Ogston Mick. It's where caught my first stillwater trout on fly! We used to be under constant observation in those days as Owen Handley would watch us all from his house with a massive pair of binoculars. Maybe he was hoping to learn a few things?
