Guiding Service

My guiding services are now available to assist fly fishermen on both game and coarse rivers. I'd be happy to advise and arrange your special day anywhere from one of Derbyshires finest trout and grayling rivers to your own local coarse river. Email Mick Martin for details and options. Huge!

Spent the day at Wolfscotedale yesterday with guest Chris and after discovering a coloured Dove we decided it was just about fishable and worth a bash. Obviously very little rising and a shower every 30 mins wasn't helping but eventually we managed a few on dries through the entire stretch including this huge lady below which is the biggest I've ever seen along this stretch, well done Chris. He took this grayling on a equally huge sedge which worked a treat for his finest grayling to date and well worth the drive for that specimen alone, in fact I'd have drove to India to land that fish.
Arriving home in time to witness Spains demolition of Italy in the Euro's I thought to myself I know one Italian Chris Delenardo who was still smiling pondering on his huge grayling he caught earlier - Jammy Git!.
